Piece of Shit: Venus Alchemica, turns the toilet into an alchemical chamber. Its International Klein Blue exterior, covered in cubicle-like graffiti, slurs, insults and social projections, carries the language through which bodies are shamed, disciplined and diminished.
Inside, a 24-carat gold-plated basin holds a hand-sculpted golden porcelain phallus, transforming a site of rejection into a vessel of reverence. The work exposes the contradiction of a culture that permits cruelty while censoring the natural body, sexuality and human function.
