About the Work
Perceptions stages a single red rose within a continuous field of gingham, accompanied by reflective vessels and a small circular mirror. The repeated grid initially appears fixed and orderly, yet bends across the curved surfaces, transforming a familiar domestic pattern into a series of shifting geometries. The mirror returns a second image of the flower, creating uncertainty between the rose itself, its reflection and the multiple versions produced through looking.
The rose carries familiar associations of beauty, intimacy and remembrance, while the reflective objects complicate the reliability of what is seen. Reflection does not confirm the original; it reframes and alters it. The title points towards this plurality, proposing that perception changes according to position, surface and expectation. Within the series, the work approaches memory in the same way; as an image repeatedly reorganised each time it is recalled.

Shipping, Packaging and Returns
Delivery Complimentary tracked worldwide shipping is included in the listed price.
Each edition is produced to order, hand-signed and numbered by the artist, and expected to dispatch within four to five weeks. Once dispatched, delivery times vary according to destination and customs processing. Tracking information will be provided by email, and each shipment is insured while in transit.
Packaging Each 50 × 40 cm unframed edition is shipped carefully rolled, never folded. The printed surface is protected with acid-free glassine and archival tissue before being placed inside a rigid, crush-resistant mailing tube with secure end caps and protective outer packaging.
This method helps protect the cotton paper and printed surface from abrasion, moisture and movement during transit. For best results, the edition should be carefully unpacked and allowed to relax flat before framing, preferably with the assistance of a professional framer.
Taxes and Import Duties The listed price includes complimentary worldwide shipping and is tax-inclusive where applicable. International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, GST, customs-clearance charges or local courier handling fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price and remain the responsibility of the collector. Returns As each edition is produced to order, change-of-mind returns are not accepted, subject to applicable consumer law.
If an edition arrives damaged or defective, contact the studio promptly with photographs of the artwork and packaging so that a replacement or appropriate resolution can be arranged.
