The selected portrait-based works move between lovers, self-portraiture and states of internal transition. Across the series, the face becomes a site where longing, tenderness, fracture and self-possession are held in visible tension.
This body of work traces a gradual movement from projection towards ownership, using colour, gesture and distortion to explore how identity is formed, unsettled and re-seen through portraiture.
