Mishele Doueihy is an artist working through image-based works, painting, sculpture and writing. His current practice studies consciousness as a changing state: a movement that revises the self, enters the artwork, and can be read again through time.

Each work is approached as a record of time, carrying the state of understanding from which it was made. As the artist changes, earlier works can return with new meaning, revealing questions, recognitions or inherited beliefs that were already present before they could be consciously understood.

After years of movement through image-making, design, architecture, technology and public cultural work, Mishele’s focus is now directed more intentionally towards his artistic and philosophical practice.

The deeper context continues in the Artist Profile, tracing the disciplines Mishele has moved through, the recognition his practice has received, and the current inquiry into consciousness, perception and personal revelation.
